EXCLUSIVE: Ananya Panday reveals she thinks her father Chunky Panday is very cool
Ananya Panday has time and again spoken about her family and her bond with her father Chunky Panday. She has been not just born into a filmy family but also shares a great camaraderie with almost the entire industry. While she is thrilled about her first Pan India film Liger that released in theatres on Friday, the actress spoke to Bollywood Hungama about the film and also revealed more about her relationship with her parents. She also spoke about why she thinks her father is the coolest.
In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama, during the Rapid Fire round, when Ananya Panday was asked what makes her father a cool dad, pat came her reply, “The joy he spreads to everyone”. When she was asked about the one habit of her parents as a couple that annoys her, the actress said, “They have set the expectations for love very high”.
Speaking of Ananya Panday, the actress made her debut with Student Of The Year 2 and went on to do films like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Gehraiyaan among others. The actress recently featured in her first Pan India film Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh. While it marked her debut in the South industry, it was also the debut of her co-star Vijay Deverakonda in Bollywood. The film released on August 25 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The actress will reunite with Siddhant Chaturvedi for their next titled Kho Gaye Hum Kahan which also features Adarsh Gourav.
As for her father, Chunky Panday continues to be a part of Bollywood films. His role as Aakhri Pasta from the Housefull movie series has remained iconic. His wife and Ananya’s mother Bhavana Panday is a part of the Netflix reality series The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Season of 2 of the series recently hit the tube.
