EXCLUSIVE: “I am truly honoured to be a part of this show and in a dream role”- Samantha Akkineni on The Family Man 2

Samantha Akkineni completed 10 years of being an actress in the Telugu film industry. Now, the actress is all set to make her digital debut with the much-awaited series The Family Man 2. The trailer of the series was dropped recently and Samantha is seen playing the role of Raji, who belongs to a terror group. Ahead of the release of the series, Samantha Akkineni spoke to Bollywood Hungama about the show and her role.

Talking about being a part of the show, Samantha said, “From 15 to 50-year-olds have come to me and have not asked me anything about my other work but asked ‘When is Family Man releasing?’. I am just lucky to be here and be a part of The Family Man because that is the only thing anyone is asking me back home. ‘When is the family man releasing?’ I am truly honoured to be a part of this team and be a part of this show and in a dream role.”

Created by Raj and DK, The Family Man 2 also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, and Mahek Thakur. The series will be released on June 4 on Amazon Prime Videos.
