Tom Holland wishes for Spider-Man and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil team up in future – “It was incredibly exciting”

Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland hopes to see Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Spider-Man team-up again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Three years after the cancelation of Marvel’s Daredevil, Charlie Cox reprised his role as Matt Murdock and made a brief appearance for the first time in the latest Spider-Man movie, as a legal aid of Peter Parker who falsely accused of murdering Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, talking about his experience of working with Charlie Cox and Daredevil's return in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland expressed how it was all “incredibly exciting” for him and hoped to see Spider-Man and Daredevil reunite again. “Working with Charlie was incredibly exciting. I was a big fan of the Daredevil series, and I think he’s a fantastic actor.”

“He’s done a wonderful job with that character, and albeit it was a small cameo, it obviously teased the future of what could be. It was really cool to see him snap back into a character that I am really a fan of and that he has a lot of love for, obviously.” Tom Holland added. “So it was pretty awesome, and I hope that one day we find a way for Spider-Man and Daredevil to team up again.”

While Charlie Cox did not technically suit up as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home, his return on screen spiked the viewership of Netflix’s Daredevil series indicating the interest of audience for the character, despite the fact that the series ended in 2018.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently playing in theaters.
