PICS: Mohanlal celebrates his birthday at home with family and friends

Mohanlal, who is one of the biggest stars of the Indian film industry turns a year older today. Social media has been flooded with birthday wishes for the superstar from colleagues from the industry and his fans from across the world. Meanwhile, owing to the lockdown the actor had his birthday celebration at his Chennai home in the presence of family and close friends.

Mohanlal who has started work on his directorial debut has been growing his beard for the film. Titled Barroz, the film had gone on floors earlier this year. A few pictures of the actor celebrating his birthday at his Chennai home have made their way to social media.

Meanwhile, several film celebrities took to their social media handle to wish the superstar. Mohanlal's contemporary and close friend Mammootty shared a major throwback picture of the two while wishing him. The background of the picture had innumerable snaps of the two clicked at various events over the years. It also has a throwback snap from the sets of the duo's blockbuster film Harikrishnans (1998).
