EXCLUSIVE: Here’s who Samantha Ruth Prabhu would like to romance on screen in a Bollywood film
After a successful season, the makers of The Family Man are all set to release the second season on June 6, 2021. The series would be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. The show got immense popularity for its realistic approach to storytelling and an enormous amount of love from the audience for the outstanding performances of its star cast. The trailer of the second season was released a few days back and has created havoc on the internet. The second season also had South superstar Samantha Akkineni's debut in the Hindi cinema.
Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the star cast of the film got candid and answered some of the really interesting questions. When we asked Samantha Ruth Prabhu that, if she were to star in a Bollywood romantic film, which actor she would want to romance on-screen apart from Manoj Bajpayee, she replied within a fraction of seconds and said Ranbir Kapoor with a quirky smile.
Apart from romance, she also reacted to the comments which she is receiving from the audience. She said that ''they (referring to Raj & DK) have set me a position so much, they have built up this character so much, that I think it's a super hit even before its release.” She also revealed why it took her so long time to Bollywood. "Maybe I am scared, the talent here is amazing" again with a quirky smile.
The star cast of the award-winning Amazon Original Series includes Padma Shree recipient Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, along with incredible talent from across India, including Sharib Hashmi, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha and Mahek Thakur.
Apart from Samantha Akkineni, the show also features an incredible cast from Tamil cinema, including Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami and N. Alagamperumal.
